Age groups range from 5 years to 12 years old.
Position offers competitive wage and benefits for full-time employees.
Willing to drive our bus is a plus, but not required - a 14 passenger MFSAB.
Responsibilities include:
1.
Collaborating with co-teacher to plan and implement the Creative Curriculum.
2.
Monitoring and being actively involved with the children.
3.
Taking the lead in helping children organize activities as individuals and in groups.
4.
Working with the co-teacher to plan special activities for the children and families.
5.
Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
6.
Ensuring toys and equipment are working, safe, and clean.
7.
Knowing how to respond in emergency situations.
8.
Attending all required meetings and trainings.
Qualifications:
1.
Experience in child care is desired, but not required.
2.
Degree (or working towards a degree) in Early Childhood Education or other Child Development-related field (Other degrees may also be accepted).
3.
Must pass criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment.
