About the Role The Treasury & Tax Corporate Accountant reports to the Controller at ACRT Services.
This position will play a key role in completing corporate tax returns, assuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
This role will also maintain fixed assets and records using CCH software.
This position requires strong attention to detail and a high level of organization.
What You'll Do Prepare & Analyze Data Maintain System for Fixed Asset Tax Book and Software Assist and work with internal and external Auditors Provide data and respond to inquiries for the US Census and SAM or any other Governmental Agency Responses Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports Maintain business licenses and registrations Act as a Key Treasury Team Member Implement departmental changes as needed to make processes more effective Attend webinars, workshops, and other trainings to stay informed of federal and state income tax rules Other duties as assigned About You Must haves:
Education:
Bachelor's degree
Experience:
3 or more years of public or corporate tax or 3 or more years filing sales & use tax, CAT tax Nice to haves:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA
Experience:
5 or more years of public or corporate tax, 3 or more years filing sales & use tax, CAT tax with 1 or more years of experience using CCH ProSystem Software, and 1 or more years of experience using Workday Your Skills:
Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (Look-ups, Pivot Tables, etc.
) Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and work independently as well as a team Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with senior management Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to exercise good judgement to make good business decisions This role would not be a good fit if:

This position is a remote hybrid role, meaning employees will be required to come into the Stow, Ohio office on a weekly or as needed basis.
Standard office equipment will be provided to work in the office and at home - a dedicated space at home to work is also required.
Uninterrupted home-based internet is a must in your home to attend and host video calls, along with a minimum bandwidth speed of 20 mbps.
If you do not have an in home office space or cannot meet the internet needs, an office space will be provided for you in the company's Stow, Ohio office.
This position is not open to candidates located in Toledo, OH or Cincinnati, OH.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
