has an excellent career opportunity for the position of SAP Configuration Analyst.
This position reports to the Director of Information Systems.
The selected candidate will play an integral role in identifying and implementing constant improvements to our SAP landscape and IT landscape as a whole.
This role will be directly involved in the overall design, testing, implementation, and support of system enhancements primarily in the area of Material Management (MM) / Warehouse Management (WM), but could extend to other areas of SAP.
Supporting the business users as they work within SAP will always be the primary goal.

General Responsibilities Assist the Director of Information Systems with maintenance and enhancement of the SAP system and other related systems.
Perform configuration as needed for sales promotions, product hierarchy changes, commodity code additions, territory or rep area changes, etc.
Work with users to define requirements, design a possible solution, and then prepare specification documents for programming or enhancements to the system.
Perform testing and validation of all configuration or programming done.
Prepare a testing plan to include user testing and IT department cross-validation.
Assist with ongoing project efforts to include new companies, plants, warehouses, and business processes as needed.
This function would include related configuration, design and execution of a testing plan, planning of the implementation and training for the business, before and after implementation.
Provide guidance and training for the use of SAP and to resolve any issues arising from the user community.
Serve as a member on cross functional teams for various projects and process improvement initiatives.
Working alongside the Director, assist in strategizing changes needed to business processes, or addition of any software to meet business needs.
Support of Stock Transport Order Process Product Allocation Responsibilities 1.
Coordinate with Sales departments regarding product to be allocated:
Prepare allocation list for review by appropriate Sales division personnel on the normal schedule Work with Sales and Credit Dept.
on completed allocation list and modify for orders/customers to be excluded (i.
e.
credit exclusion, export exclusions) to determine the quantity of each material to allocate.

Perform all transactional aspects related to the allocation of product, within the SAP system, to customer orders:
Unblock quantities for materials as determined in the previous step and put them in their appropriate bins.
Allocate each product to each order listed using SAP's backorder processing transaction.
Deliver each order that has been allocated product.
Resolve any credit issues that arise during allocation.
Verify that all products unblocked have been delivered and TO's created so that the unblocked quantity and the pick quantity in LS24 for each material is equal.
Perform ad-hoc allocations as needed for online sales, special orders, products needed for shows, materials needed for special production processes, etc.

Communicate details of allocation; products and customers, to internal parties:
Customer Support for communication to customers during product inquiry conversations Credit department for product release / credit hold decision-making Sales management to ensure completed allocation cycle.
Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in IT or Business Admin.
A solid general understanding of business processes and the process flow through SAP.
A solid understanding of Master Data management.
A minimum of two-years of hands-on SAP work experience with familiarity of configuration in the MM, WM and/or APO modules.
Additional experience in Production Planning (PP), Sales & Distribution(SD), Logistics Execution (LE) modules and Finance/Controlling (FICO) integration is helpful but not required.
Experience with RF and barcoding is helpful.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with Business SME's, Technical IT team members, as well as end users across the business.
Domestically and internationally.
Willingness to learn other SAP modules or other software as needed.
Ability to work autonomously.
