Non-Exempt Summary The Engineering Coordinator is a crucial team member and is part of our continued growth and development related to Engineering systems and processes.
The Engineering Coordinator stores, manages, and tracks records and documents.
They also ensure that those documents are accurate and maintain their quality and integrity.
An Engineering Coordinator as part of the Engineering team is responsible for creating, maintaining, and delivering Mfg.
routing packets and plans to operations.
JOB TASKS:
Coordinate all engineering releases with other departments as required Generate Operator routing structures within Infor Visual ERP system Generate shop packet including prints and routings for manufacturing orders Process engineering change orders and coordinate all documentation required according to company policies and procedures.
Review documents for proper revision, document type, document number(s), and all comments have been incorporated.
Performs specialized clerical tasks (e.
g.
, searches records, gathers & organizes data, checks accuracy, possesses Microsoft Word and spreadsheet skills to produce basic reports and basic data entry).
Performs general clerical tasks (e.
g.
, maintains files; answers phones, greets visitors; orders & stocks supplies; maintains calendar; makes copies).
Maintain organization of document revisions for electronic files and logs.
Compile job books for engineered equipment packages Partner with the Engineering team to identify and initiate updates to procedures on a continuous basis Collaborate with engineers to ensure all documentation-related actions from Change Control process are being addressed Oversee and maintain engineering documentation within the Infor Visual ERP system Skilled with MS Office products - comfortable learning new applications Familiarity with ERP systems - Visual Manufacturing experience is preferred Lean or problem-solving knowledge and experience Willingness to continue training and education Good oral and written communication skills - must be able to interact with others daily Familiar with manufacturing disciplines of welding, machining, electrical wiring, assembly, and painting Detail oriented and well-organized Strong problem solving and prioritization skills Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally across departments and as part of a team Knowledge of quality procedures and document control 1-3 years of document control experience (preferred) 2-3 years minimum of on-the-job experience.
